Parenting Success

We had a great weekend last weekend-- not too much craziness. I even cooked dinner every night. One morning when I was cutting Sam's toenails, we were talking about how much they, and he, had grown. He said, "We all grow in wisdom and stature and favor with God and with man, right mommy?" I couldn't believe it. The verse he was quoting is the verse we've prayed over him since his first moments. To hear him say it back was such a thrill. We haven't worked on that with him or tried to get him to know it, I just try to include it in our evening prayers on occasion. Anyway, it was a great moment to know that he is hearing our prayers and that HE is hearing them too.
