Well Check for Kate

Ha, I guess that is sort of funny, because we did make 3 trips to the doctor last week, most of which not because she was especially well. We're still in the winter of sickness, and we've all had an enduring cold. I took Kate first on Wednesday and they diagnosed her with double ear infections and "possibly" RSV. Apparently no need to diagnose the RSV because antibiotic will help both. Later that day I took Sam, just to check out his cough, which was fine. He was complaining that it hurt when he coughed, so I guess it's worth the $15 to check it out. Finally, the well check on Friday.

By Friday, Kate was looking better in the ear/chest areas. She was 32" tall and just under 27 pounds (I think). She was 90% in height, 92% in weight, and 97% in head circumference (don't tell her, she's sensitive). She took the shots like a champ. The first didn't even bring on a flinch. The second caused her to look a little peeved, and the third brought tears. Only for about 5 seconds though, because by the time I picked her up, she was fine. What a woman.
